Refund policy

A consumer may cancel the purchase in accordance with the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act: https://lovdata.no/dokument/NL/lov/2014-06-20-27 

The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the date the service agreement was entered into, or the date the consumer takes physical possession of the goods. 

The consumer must notify the seller of their intention to exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days from the start of the withdrawal period. All calendar days are included in the deadline. If the deadline falls on a Saturday, public holiday, or other non-business day, it is extended to the next working day. 

The consumer bears the burden of proof that the right of withdrawal has been exercised. The standard withdrawal form must be used and can be downloaded here. The completed form should be sent to kontakt@ledback.no. The deadline is considered to be met if the notice is sent before the withdrawal period expires.

Start of the withdrawal period:

  • For purchases of individual items, the withdrawal period begins the day after the item(s) are received.
  • If the purchase consists of multiple deliveries, the withdrawal period begins the day after the final delivery is received.

When exercising the right of withdrawal, the item must be returned to the seller without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date the notice of withdrawal was given. The consumer is responsible for covering the direct costs of returning the item. The seller may not charge any fees for the consumer’s use of the right of withdrawal.

The consumer may examine or test the product in a responsible manner to determine its nature, characteristics, and functionality without forfeiting the right of withdrawal. If the testing exceeds what is considered reasonable and necessary, the consumer may be held liable for any reduction in the product’s value.

The seller is obligated to refund the purchase amount without undue delay, and no later than 14 days from the date the seller received notice of the consumer’s decision to exercise the right of withdrawal. The seller has the right to withhold the refund until the product has been returned, or until the consumer provides documentation confirming that the product has been shipped back.
